Job summary

Worldline invites a skilled Fullstack Developer to join our team in Auckland. You will develop containerized Java applications and client-side GUI solutions, contributing to high-performance, secure systems and leading GUI work packages.

We seek 5+ years of experience with Java/Angular and REST, plus knowledge of JEE/JPA, Docker and Quarkus. Fluency in English and teamwork are essential, with a hybrid work culture and global learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java, Angular, REST Web Services.
• Knowledge of JEE, JPA, Docker, JBOSS, Quarkus.
• Experience with microservices and cloud solutions is ideal (GCP or similar).
• Expertise of relational databases, e.g. Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• GIT version control or equivalent, dependency track, SonarQube.
• Willingness to embrace an international working context and to continue performance improvement
• Have an analytical mind and good organization skills
• Outgoing, open person and a good team-player
• Fluent English skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop containerized applications based on current Java technologies
• Develop client-side GUI applications
• Do the analysis and design of complex systems and contribute to the creation of technical concepts respecting high performance and security constraints
• Work on technical concepts; plan and execute the technical obsolescence of our Gui applications
• You will act as a lead developer for GUI work packages
• Contribute to making our applications easily testable
• Actively participate in all phases of a software development project using agile methods
• Collaborate with operations and acceptance testers
