Job summary

Techspace Co., Ltd. in Auckland is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs across the stack.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions that meet user and business needs. You will build backend services with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and MySQL, and deliver responsive front-end using ReactJS, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript, with OpenAPI guidance and optional GraphQL capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java (latest versions), Spring Boot, Hibernate, and MySQL.
• Developing scalable web APIs and backend systems.
• Front-end development with ReactJs, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software testing practices.
• Familiarity with secure coding, API authentication, and performance tuning.
• Agile and collaborative engineering culture with best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Develop scalable backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL.
• Build responsive front-end applications with ReactJS, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs (and optionally GraphQL) using OpenAPI standards.
• Implement secure, scalable software architecture and application design.
• Design and maintain optimized relational database schemas and write SQL.
• Set up automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, UX/UI designers, and engineers; mentor teammates.
