Job summary

Nurture, a Pushpay company, Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work across the full stack, designing scalable APIs, building modern UIs, and ensuring smooth data flow. You will collaborate with product and design to deliver high-impact features using CakePHP, PostgreSQL, and SvelteKit, and you’ll integrate with third-party platforms while optimizing performance.

Qualifications

Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and scalable APIs.
Familiarity with authentication systems (OAuth, SSO, Cognito).
Experience with data pipelines or event-driven systems.
Background in church or nonprofit technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain full stack features using CakePHP, PostgreSQL, and SvelteKit.
Design scalable, multi-tenant systems and APIs.
Develop intuitive, performant UI components using modern frontend frameworks.
Integrate with third-party platforms (Salesforce, Mailchimp, Planning Center, Twilio, etc.).
Optimize performance across backend queries and frontend rendering.
Collaborate with product and design to deliver high-impact features.
Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards.
