Job summary

Auror is seeking two senior contract full-stack engineers to design and implement a new domain service in C#/.NET, with a modern React/TypeScript frontend. You’ll own data models, API contracts, and end-to-end delivery, while collaborating with Product and Design.

This six-month engagement is remote within New Zealand, with an emphasis on autonomy and high-quality, observable software. You’ll work across the stack, ensure robust testing and observability, and help shape the long-term

Qualifications

• Deep full-stack capability with C#/.NET, APIs, and data flows.
• Strong React and TypeScript experience within a design system.
• Ability to ship reliable software across frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a new service in C#/.NET, including its data model and API contracts.
• Develop a robust React/TypeScript frontend within the existing design system.
• Write automated tests across the stack and ensure observability and failure recovery.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver incremental releases.
• Document patterns, code and learnings for the permanent team.
