Job summary

Auror Limited is hiring two senior contract full stack engineers to join a greenfield service within our platform. You will design the data model, API contracts, and integration points in C#/.NET, and build a front-end in React and TypeScript on top of it.

You’ll work across the stack, including testing, observability, and collaboration with Product and Design. This is a six-month initial contract, open to fully remote candidates in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Genuine full stack capability with strong C#/.NET and API reasoning.
• Deep React and TypeScript experience in production apps.
• Delivery-focused, able to break problems into increments and ship within fixed timeframes.
• Comfort with semi-formed requirements; talk to context holders and align before building.
• Testing and reliability mindset with observability and data integrity in mind.
• Judgement in how you use AI; own what you ship and ensure tests/docs are meaningful.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a new service in C#/.NET, including data model and API contracts.
• Build front-end in React/TypeScript using the design system and component library.
• Make the new capability available to clients including the public API.
• Develop automated tests across stack covering front-end, API, permissions, persistence, and integration.
• Build in observability and robust failure recovery from start.
• Plan work in increments, surface risks and dependencies early.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to turn evolving requirements into releases.
• Leave codebase in a state that the permanent team can pick up without you.
