Job summary

Twine is seeking an experienced software engineer to own features across a TypeScript monorepo, covering React front ends, Node.js services, and ETL pipelines for ingesting advertising data. You will design, optimize, and operate data-heavy workloads with high reliability at scale, collaborating with engineering peers to uphold code quality and best practices in a fast-paced AdTech environment.

The role emphasizes ownership of complex challenges, architectural input, and production delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Strong experience with SQL/OLAP databases and analytical query optimization.
• Hands-on expertise with ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis, and queue-based processing (BullMQ or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Availability for a full-time contract position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable features across React front ends and Node.js backend services within a TypeScript monorepo.
• Design, optimize, and operate ETL pipelines and data-heavy workloads using ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis, and queue-based processing (BullMQ).
• Ensure reliable CI/CD, background job processing, real-time data delivery, and high-performance analytical queries.
• Uphold engineering quality through comprehensive testing (unit, integration, snapshot, screenshot, end-to-end).
• Conduct code reviews and provide architectural input to guide technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions for advertising data processing.
