Job summary

Arvion Services is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer in New Zealand (Wellington) to build and enhance user-facing applications. You will work with Vue 3+ and TypeScript, contribute to architecture, review code, and mentor peers in an Agile environment.

You’ll collaborate with designers to deliver responsive, accessible interfaces using Tailwind CSS and modern tooling, while applying best practices and testing strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software development experience.
• Strong experience with Vue 3+ and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and responsive UI.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable frontend applications using Vue 3+ and TypeScript.
• Design and implement clean, maintainable frontend architecture.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Mentor developers on best practices, architecture, and clean coding practices.
• Build responsive and accessible interfaces using Tailwind CSS, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Vitest or Jest.
• Work with modern build tools such as Vite, Rollup or Webpack.
• Collaborate with designers to deliver intuitive and polished UI/UX.
• Work closely with engineers and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute to technical direction and architecture decisions.
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency.
