Job summary

Watercare Services Limited is seeking a Software Tester to validate fintech platforms in Auckland. You will ensure reliability, security and production readiness across card issuance, wallet, and API integrations.

Responsibilities include planning and executing functional, integration, regression and UAT tests on web, mobile and backend systems; validating database integrity and transaction flows; and supporting automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress and Postman.

Qualifications

• Formal testing experience across functional, integration, system, regression and UAT.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience testing REST APIs and system integrations.
• Understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Ability to prepare structured test cases and test reports.
• Awareness of security principles and PCI DSS considerations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test data based on requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing.
• Test web, mobile and backend applications.
• Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
• Retest corrected defects and conduct regression testing before releases.
• Verify delivered software meets requirements.
