Randstad Group is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Accountant in Wellington on a contract basis. You will bridge Finance, IT and vendors, driving system implementations and ongoing reporting enhancements.

The role requires hands-on expertise with SSRS, Power BI, and SQL, plus advanced Excel skills and a proven track record of delivering financial and operational insights. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Finance/Systems Accountant with system implementations or upgrades.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capability for financial and operational metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills to support financial modelling and reporting.
• Experience acting as SME between Finance, IT, vendors and business stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Act as Finance SME for system implementation, embedding best-practice workflows.
• Support data migration planning, validation, and execution.
• Design, build, and enhance reporting solutions for insights.
• Serve as the main contact between business users, IT and Finance.
• Manage day-to-day admin of reporting tools like SSRS and Power BI.
