Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CAANZ membership or equivalent is expected.
• Leadership experience in a finance team is essential.
• Strong knowledge of public sector accounting standards and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a six-person financial accounting team to deliver core accounting functions.
• Oversee external reporting, general ledger reconciliations, fixed asset management and monthly Treasury submissions.
• Coordinate annual reporting, external audits, and ministerial information requests.
• Identify risks and implement efficient financial controls and processes.
