Job summary

Beyond Recruitment in Wellington, New Zealand, is seeking a senior engineer with 8–10 years of experience in infrastructure delivery and cloud-based technology. You will work on IT infrastructure including Windows, Linux, Android OS, Active Directory, databases, and XMPP chat, while delivering level 1 and 2 end-user support.

The role covers deploying software to cloud and on-prem environments, working with Java/C#, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and configuration tools.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience across infrastructure delivery and cloud-based technology.
• Experience with IT infrastructure and platforms including Windows, Linux, Android OS, Active Directory, and database management systems.
• Ability to deliver level 1 and 2 end-user support.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 and 2 end-user support.
• Contribute to infrastructure delivery and cloud-based projects across on-prem and cloud environments.

We’re looking for a senior engineer with 8-10 years of experience across infrastructure delivery and cloud-based technology, including

• IT infrastructure and platforms such as Windows, Linux, Android-based operating systems, Active Directory, database management systems, XMPP chat
• Deliveringlevel 1 and 2 support to end-users

And Exposure To:

• Deploying software applications into cloud-based and on-prem environments
• Software development technologies e.g. Java, C#, JavaScript
• Deploying software applications
• Containerised workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
• Configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

Must have a Degree in a related field- computer science, engineering etc.

Must be a New Zealand citizen
