Job summary

Invenco by GVR is seeking a Senior Embedded Build Engineer to own automated build, test, and release ecosystems for customized Embedded Linux platforms. You will bridge firmware engineering and automated infrastructure, manage Yocto distributions, and architect multi-platform pipelines using GitLab CI and GitHub Actions.

You will create C++ Embedded Linux and Windows builds, integrate packages, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, scalable build processes with automated regression

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Linux Administration, Embedded build systems, DevOps.
• Deep, production-level experience writing and maintaining Yocto recipes, configuration files, and custom layers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, optimize, and scale automated build pipelines for custom Embedded Linux distributions using the Yocto Project (Bit Bake).
• Design, build, and optimize complex workflows utilizing both GitLab CI and GitHub Actions.
• Manage containerized build agents (Docker) and provision distributed infrastructure for Yocto compilations.
• Connect automated pipelines to target boards or emulated environments for automated testing.
• Manage versioning and generation of reproducible Yocto build artifacts, SDKs, root filesystems and system packages.
