Job summary

Aspire Nursery & Preschool Wanaka seeks an outstanding, fully qualified ECE teacher to lead delivery of our knowledge-rich curriculum. You will drive high-quality teaching, design well-sequenced learning experiences, and lead planning that strengthens early literacy and numeracy in a play-rich environment.

Working with the centre manager, you will ensure a structured, coherent curriculum while staying responsive to children’s interests.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ECE teacher with experience in early childhood and primary education to lead the curriculum delivery.
• Drive high-quality teaching practice, design well-sequenced learning experiences, and lead intentional planning for literacy and numeracy in a play-rich environment.
• Work closely with the centre manager to keep the curriculum structured, coherent, and responsive to children’s interests.
• Strong subject knowledge and commitment to excellence in early learning; join a team of four teachers with up to 35 children aged 3+ to school age.

Aspire Nursery & Preschool – Wanaka, South Island

Aspire Preschool Wanaka is seeking an outstanding, fully qualified ECE teacher with experience in early childhood and primary education to lead and oversee the delivery of our knowledge‑rich curriculum.

You will drive high‑quality teaching practice, design well‑sequenced learning experiences, and lead intentional planning that strengthens early literacy and numeracy foundations within a play‑rich environment.

Working closely with the centre manager, you will ensure our curriculum is structured, coherent, and robust while remaining responsive to children’s interests.

This role suits an exceptional teacher with high standards, strong subject knowledge, and a commitment to excellence in early learning.

As part of a team of four teachers, you will work with up to 35 children aged 3+ to school age, helping create a fun, creative environment with engaging play‑based learning experiences.

You will support teachers, strengthen planning, and contribute to a positive, professional team culture.
