Placements24 seeks an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure in a hybrid role based in Queenstown. You will lead CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and implement IaC to drive reliability and scalability.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in DevOps, strong cloud and containerization skills, and a knack for automation. You’ll collaborate with development teams, enhance security practices, and document procedures in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps or related role.
• Proven expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong containerization experience (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficient in scripting languages (Bash/Python/PowerShell).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI/CircleCI).
• IaC principles and tools (Terraform/Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK).
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Implement IaC using Terraform/Ansible.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, optimize resilience.
• Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments.
