Our Development Engineering team works closely with developers, consultants, contractors, internal teams and our communities to support quality development and find practical solutions.
As a Senior Development Engineer, you’ll provide technical expertise across subdivision and land use projects, with a focus on complex consents, infrastructure planning, water services, roading and asset management.
You’ll have the autonomy to assess and influence development proposals, provide trusted technical advice and help resolve complex engineering issues. You’ll also mentor Development Engineers and contribute to building technical capability across the team.

You’re an experienced civil or development engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and working with people. You bring strong technical judgement, sound communication skills and the confidence to influence outcomes across a range of stakeholders.

Previous local government experience would be highly desirable.
