Job summary

Giltrap Group is seeking a Dealer Development Manager to lead the Geely dealer network expansion across New Zealand. The role focuses on growth, performance, and capability, including onboarding new dealers, upskilling teams, and maintaining brand standards across Geely and Farizon.

You will travel extensively within NZ, build strong relationships with dealer principals, and report on network performance, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Senior-level automotive retail or dealer network development experience.
• Experience leading dealer start-up and network growth.
• Ability to travel extensively within New Zealand.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent communication and project-management abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the expansion of the Geely dealer network across New Zealand from 8 to 20 dealerships.
• Manage dealer appointment, onboarding, and operational readiness, including facilities, systems, training, resources, and capability.
• Build strong relationships with Dealer Principals and senior leadership teams and lead regular performance reviews.
• Monitor sales, aftersales, customer experience, operational performance, business plans, and KPIs.
• Develop dealer improvement plans and drive capability through training, coaching, and best‑practice sharing.
• Oversee facility, signage, showroom, workshop, and CI requirements to maintain brand standards.
• Maintain accurate reporting on network growth, dealer readiness, performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Support Farizon representation expansion through Geely dealer partners with the Farizon Country Manager.
