Job summary

Woolworths Group in New Zealand is seeking a Senior Technical Data Analyst to drive the operation and evolution of the Commercial Buying platform. You will work with NZ leadership and analytics teams across Australia and India, empowering a squad of analysts and delivering high-impact analytical solutions.

You will leverage SQL, Python and Excel to build pipelines, ensure data integrity, and support business strategy through data-driven insights in a hybrid work setting (3 days in the office,

Qualifications

Expert in SQL and data manipulation
Experience building data models and pipelines
Ability to mentor junior analysts and work with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

Operate and evolve the Commercial Buying platform tooling
Drive roadmaps for platform evolution and improvements
Ensure data quality, governance, and pipeline reliability
Diagnose and resolve complex data issues and stakeholder requests
Collaborate with analytics teams across NZ, Australia and India
Engage stakeholders to track outcomes and drive adoption of standard platforms
Mentor junior analysts and support squad deliverables
