Job summary

Industry Skills Boards seeks a Senior Data & Solutions Analyst to design and deliver data-driven solutions for the vocational education system. You will transform complex datasets into insights, dashboards, and tools, supporting QA, qualification development, and workforce planning across NZ.

You'll collaborate with ISB stakeholders, enhance the Shared Data Platform, and apply strong privacy practices while translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Excellent stakeholder engagement to translate challenges into data solutions.
Strong experience in analysing and managing complex datasets.
Proven track record of dashboards and analytical products.
Advanced Excel and programming in Python/R/Stata/SAS.
Ability to explain complex tech to non-technical audiences.
Experience with sensitive data and privacy principles.
Degree in data analytics or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver data-driven solutions supporting QA and workforce planning.
Develop dashboards, tools, and products for evidence-based decisions.
Collaborate with ISB stakeholders to understand priorities and data challenges.
Contribute to the Shared Data Platform and forecasting tools.
