Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced, hands-on data privacy architect to turn complex privacy and enterprise data challenges into practical, high-impact solutions across cloud and on-prem environments. You will work with a team of innovative minds to deliver scalable architectures and effective data protection strategies.

The role combines architecture, delivery, and pre-sales activities, requiring deep technical expertise and strong collaboration with clients.

Qualifications

10+ years in enterprise data and database architecture and implementation.
3+ years in enterprise infrastructure design.
4+ years of hands-on Cloud and On-Prem architecture experience.
Strong data ingest and integration experience, including database and SQL optimisation.
Hands-on capability with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Proven Test Data Management experience and cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery to understand client requirements, data landscapes and privacy needs.
Design scalable architectures that integrate across Cloud and On-Prem environments.
Lead customer presentations, demonstrations and Proof of Concept engagements.
Lead end-to-end implementation of DataMasque and related data privacy solutions.
Design data ingest and integration approaches and support Test Data Management processes.
Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure and GCP, plus Docker and Kubernetes environments.
Provide Level 1 technical support and maintain clear customer communications.
Collaborate with partners and DataMasque specialists to align outcomes.
