Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines that power FATCA, CRS and PTR regulatory reporting. You will work in a cloud-based data platform, applying PySpark and Python to transform and process large datasets with an emphasis on accuracy and auditability.

You will leverage AWS services such as Glue, S3, RDS/Aurora and DataSync, implement end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines, and collaborate with CI/CD tooling like CloudBees to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines on cloud platforms.
• Hands-on with PySpark and Python for data transformation.
• Experience with distributed data processing in Spark.
• Advanced SQL for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation and validation.
• Experience with ETL/ELT across complex enterprise data ecosystems.

Responsibilities
