The Warehouse Group (TWG) is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build and optimise scalable data solutions across a modern cloud data ecosystem. You will partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical outcomes and mentor peers in data engineering best practices.
In this role you will shape enterprise data platforms, drive quality and security, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of TWG's data capabilities in a hybrid Auckland-based environment.

Sitting within our Data function and reporting to the Tech Team Lead: Data Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving our enterprise data platform. As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building and optimising scalable data solutions that enable trusted insights across the business.
You'll bring deep technical expertise and a passion for data engineering, while also acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and a mentor to other engineers. Working across a modern cloud-based data ecosystem, you'll help drive engineering best practices, influence technical direction, and ensure our data platforms continue to meet the evolving needs of the business.
