Job summary

Reo Group in Auckland is seeking a Senior Functional Consultant to take charge of D365 CE delivery, own a functional workstream and influence configuration decisions from requirements through to release. You will work closely with clients to define priorities and ensure successful implementations that replace inefficient processes with sustainable ways of working.

You will partner with process owners, a project manager and technical teams, mentor colleagues, shape the practice's next growth

Qualifications

• Experience delivering D365 CE in senior functional capacity.
• Ability to elicit requirements and translate into actionable work.
• Experience with Power Platform to support CE requirements.
• Microsoft certification welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Own a D365 CE functional workstream, from initial requirement discussions to customer acceptance and release.
• Work with process owners to identify the underlying operational issue, agree priorities and document decisions.
• Develop user stories and functional detail that give delivery colleagues a clear basis for their work.
• Configure CE applications and agree when Power Platform extensions or specialist input are appropriate.
• Plan and allocate consulting activities with the project manager, keeping dependencies and commitments visible.
• Work through design questions with architects and developers to arrive at workable, supportable outcomes.
• Guide customers and project teams through functional testing, training, transition and early adoption.
• Spot delivery obstacles early, communicate their impact and secure timely decisions from the right people.
• Coach colleagues through functional challenges and contribute practical knowledge to the consulting team.
• Identify sensible uses of automation and AI tools that improve a customer process or an internal delivery task.
