Job summary

New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) is seeking a Principal Protective Security Risk Advisor - Cyber to lead complex cyber security risk assessments across critical NZTA systems and services. You will provide expert guidance leveraging PSR, NZISM, ISO 31000 and best practices, producing risk artefacts and defining proportionate controls to secure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting cyber risk assessments for complex IT services.
• Ability to articulate cyber risk findings and practical treatments.
• Familiarity with NZISM, ISO 31000 and PSR frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber security risk assessments across critical NZTA systems and services.
• Provide expert advice using PSR, NZISM, ISO 31000 and industry best practice.
• Produce risk evaluation artefacts including risk positions and control recommendations.
• Define risk-proportionate security controls to support secure solutions.
• Present cyber security risks to governance forums.
