Job summary

Envato is seeking a Senior CRM Manager for a remote-first role across Australia and New Zealand. You will lead lifecycle marketing, elevate email performance, and drive customer engagement across the lifecycle.

You will build a high-performing team, design data-driven segmentation, automation, and AI-powered campaigns, and partner with Brand, Product and Research to scale personalisation and impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of CRM and lifecycle marketing experience.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams.
• Expertise in email marketing best practices and segmentation.
• Hands-on with marketing automation platforms (Iterable).
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into insights.
• Excellent copywriting and editing for customer messaging.
• Strong stakeholder management across Marketing, Product and Customer Success.
• Experience using AI and automation to improve CRM performance.
• Knowledge of data privacy and marketing compliance (SPAM Act, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of CRM specialists.
• Own and manage the email marketing calendar in alignment with brand and priorities.
• Define and execute data-driven CRM and lifecycle strategies.
• Design and optimise customer segmentation for targeted communications.
• Oversee CRM campaigns across the customer lifecycle and optimise performance.
• Evolve CRM processes for efficiency, scalability and impact.
• Champion AI and automation to enhance personalisation and efficiency.
• Leverage Iterable to build scalable lifecycle programs.
• Analyse campaign performance and customer data to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Research, Brand and Marketing to align goals.
