Placements24, Welkom-based client in the Arts & Entertainment sector, seeks a visionary and experienced Senior Costume Designer to lead the costume department from concept to completion across theatre, film, and television productions.

You will guide fabric selection, sketching, fittings, and collaboration with directors and designers to ensure costumes enhance the narrative and aesthetic vision. A strong portfolio and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in costume design for Arts & Entertainment productions.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of design styles and successful projects.
• Proficiency in costume sketching, pattern making, and garment construction techniques.
• Understanding of textiles, dyes, and historical fashion periods.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Degree in Costume Design, Fashion Design, Theatre Arts, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
