Fluid Recruitment invites an experienced Corporate Commercial Solicitor (5PQE+) to join a well-established Dunedin practice, handling a broad mix of corporate and commercial matters. This is a senior role suitable for a Senior Solicitor/Associate seeking greater responsibility.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, advise on business sales, acquisitions and mergers, conduct due diligence, and prepare shareholder agreements and governance documents within a supportive Dunedin team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE in a NZ law firm.
• Experience across corporate and commercial matters.
• Strong drafting and transactional skills.
• Direct client engagement and file management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Commercially minded with autonomy and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Advise on sales, acquisitions and mergers.
• Conduct legal due diligence.
• Prepare shareholder agreements and governance documents.
• Advise directors on governance and compliance.
• Assist with formations, restructures and joint ventures.
• Provide commercial risk and strategic business advice.
• Support capital raising and investment transactions.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
