Job summary

Farmlands Te Whenua Tāroa seeks a seasoned cloud architect to define and implement the next generation of its cloud platform. You will own the architecture, governance, and automation, shaping VNet/VPC design, hybrid connectivity, DNS, and security posture to enable scalable, secure delivery across the business.

You will drive IaC adoption, build repeatable platforms, and foster cloud-native delivery while enabling AI-driven capabilities and responsible governance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in enterprise-scale cloud architecture across Azure and AWS.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools including Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, Zero Trust, and governance frameworks.
• Experience optimizing cloud environments for cost, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Farmlands' cloud architecture strategy across Azure and AWS.
• Lead IaC and automation to deliver scalable network infrastructure as code.
• Design secure-by-default cloud architectures with policy enforcement.
• Drive FinOps by establishing baselines, tagging, and cost governance.
• Bridge infrastructure and development, enabling Agentic AI delivery with governed platforms.
