Job summary

Farmlands is seeking a cloud architect to lead the transformation of our cloud platform, defining architecture, governance and automation. You will inherit a complex estate and build the foundation with VNet/VPC design, hybrid connectivity, segmentation and governance to support secure, scalable cloud delivery.

You will drive IaC, security, FinOps, and a governed platform that enables our development teams to adopt Agentic AI with confidence and accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Enterprise cloud architecture across Azure and AWS.
• IaC, automation, CI/CD with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Zero Trust, network segmentation and governance principles.
• Cost optimization of cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Farmlands' cloud architecture strategy across Azure and AWS.
• Lead adoption of Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Design secure-by-default cloud architectures with policy enforcement.
• Drive FinOps discipline: baselines, tagging, rightsizing, waste reduction.
• Bridge infrastructure and development for governed AI-enabled delivery.
