Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Wellington to lead civil packages across brownfield and greenfield projects. You will coordinate surveys, drainage studies and asset assessments while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver roads, earthworks, stormwater and utilities from concept through construction support.

You will bring Chartered Engineer status in NZ, strong project leadership, and a track record delivering complex civil projects within consultancy or EPC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Washington Accord).
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status in New Zealand.
• Significant experience delivering civil engineering projects in consulting or project delivery environments.
• Strong technical expertise across roads, pavements, earthworks, drainage and related infrastructure.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to construction support in brownfield or live environments.
• Familiarity with NZ infrastructure standards, consenting and design certification.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Valid NZ driver's licence and work entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering packages from feasibility to handover on brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Prepare and review design criteria, calculations, reports, specs, drawings and cost estimates.
• Coordinate surveys, geotechnical investigations, drainage studies and asset condition assessments.
• Collaborate with structural, geotechnical, mechanical, process and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage scope, budget, programme, risks and quality; support proposals and procurement.
• Deliver civil designs for roads, pavements, earthworks, stormwater and utilities.
• Coordinate retaining structures, utility corridors and three-waters infrastructure using Civil 3D/12d.
• Build relationships and mentor developing engineers to foster a high-performing team.
