Job summary

Jacobs in Auckland, New Zealand seeks a Senior Associate Civil Engineer / Associate Civil Engineer to lead civil and aviation infrastructure projects. The role focuses on concept to construction support, design leadership, and multidisciplinary delivery across aviation, transport and energy sectors.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical delivery, and collaborate with global teams to secure opportunities and deliver high-quality outcomes for ANZ clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering; Chartered status highly regarded.
• Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects in aviation.
• Experience in design management or discipline leadership roles.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of civil and aviation infrastructure projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
• Act as Design Manager, Discipline Lead, Project Manager or technical lead on multidisciplinary projects.
• Provide technical leadership across aviation, transport, site civil, drainage and infrastructure projects.
• Support business development, proposal preparation and client engagement activities.
• Mentor and develop early and mid-career engineers.
• Work collaboratively with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with clients, project teams and industry stakeholders.
• Help strengthen Jacobs' aviation capability and contribute to future project opportunities across ANZ
