Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate Architect for Data Centre projects in Auckland. You’ll lead architectural design and coordination across major data centre work, translating complex operational requirements into high-quality outcomes while partnering with engineering teams and clients.

You will mentor junior architects, supervise design professionals, and contribute to Jacobs’ Data Centre capability across New Zealand and APAC, leveraging Revit, Rhino and BIM workflows.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated architectural design and delivery experience on Data Centre projects.
• Knowledge of New Zealand building codes and standards for data centres.
• Experience coordinating with engineering and specialist consultants on large-scale facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and documentation across the project lifecycle for data centre projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs to deliver integrated, technically robust solutions.
• Lead and mentor design professionals across NZ, APAC and Jacobs' global network.
• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to document project requirements and ensure quality outcomes.
