Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Associate Transmission Lines Engineer to join our Lines team and deliver transmission and renewable energy projects across New Zealand, Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region. Based in New Zealand, the role may involve interstate or international travel and collaboration.

You will lead technical delivery, review engineering work and mentor other engineers while collaborating with geotechnical, earthing and bonding specialists, project managers and other power

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering transmission line projects within consulting, utility or contractor environments, with strong technical knowledge of transmission line structures, foundations and associated infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of the New Zealand transmission sector, its stakeholders and project delivery environment.
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery, review engineering work and provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers.
• Strong client, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and identify opportunities for project growth.
• A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of Jacobs' transmission capability.
