Crowne Plaza Christchurch, part of IHG, is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in the heart of downtown Christchurch. You will help maintain high standards across all outlets and events under guidance from the sous and executive chefs.

We value professional, reliable hospitality professionals with a passion for food, strong organizational skills, and a flexible roster including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years’ experience as a Chef de Partie.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of a la carte and banquet service with modern and classical techniques.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day kitchen operations across outlets and events.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to high standards.
• Assist with breakfast buffet, functions and events preparation.
