Job summary

Datacom is seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer in Auckland for a contract engagement. The role combines backend C#/.NET integration work with hands-on mobile development for Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift).

You will work across secure, high-performing API delivery in a complex enterprise environment and contribute independently from day one. Based in Auckland, you should have NZ working rights and a track record across both integration and mobile engineering.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in C#/.NET integration engineering with API focus.
• Proven track record delivering secure, high-performing APIs.
• Hands-on mobile development across Android and iOS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend APIs and system integrations in C#/.NET.
• Develop high-performance ASP.NET Web APIs with security and reliability in mind.
• Contribute to native Android and iOS development using Kotlin and Swift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply strong engineering practices: testing, troubleshooting and code reviews.
• Utilize Git and CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery.
• Support production systems and resolve incidents as needed.
