Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora seeks a Senior Business Analyst to lead analytics platform delivery and governance. You will translate business needs into practical requirements and drive agile delivery across BI initiatives, partnering with stakeholders, analytics teams and vendors.

You will ensure solutions are well defined, governed and deliver meaningful outcomes for patients and communities, while balancing risk, security and data governance in a large public health organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis within BI, data and analytics environments.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable plans.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements discovery, workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Coordinate agile delivery across analytics initiatives and platform governance.
• Define and refine backlog and ensure solutions meet governance and privacy requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, analytics teams and vendors to deliver value.
