NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the development and continuous improvement of the Regulatory Practice Framework. You will transform regulatory expectations into practical guidance, tools and resources to help teams deliver high-quality regulatory outcomes.
You will work with regulatory practitioners and leaders to embed good practice, identify opportunities for improvement and lift regulatory capability across the organisation.

You’ll turn regulatory expectations into practical guidance, tools and resources that help teams deliver consistent, high-quality regulatory outcomes.
Working closely with regulatory practitioners and leaders, you’ll provide expert advice and support to embed good practice across the organisation. You’ll help identify opportunities for improvement, turning insights and feedback into enhancements that lift regulatory capability.
Collaborating across regulatory teams and internal stakeholders, you’ll help drive understanding, adoption and application of the Practice Framework. Your work will contribute to a more consistent, user-focused and effective regulatory system that delivers better outcomes for New Zealanders.

Te Rōpū Waeture – Regulatory plays a critical role as the lead regulator for land transport – taking a system wide, risk-based approach to improving safety outcomes and reducing harm. This includes designing and continuously improving regulatory frameworks that are evidence based, proportionate, and responsive to the needs of the sector.
