Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island in Christchurch is seeking a Senior BI Consultant to deliver end-to-end data and analytics solutions that enable better decision‑making for stakeholders from senior leaders to owner operators.

Reporting to the Data Platform Lead within Digital Services, you’ll contribute across the full data lifecycle including data engineering, warehouse development and visualisation, delivering scalable analytics while evolving cloud and SAP platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in data modelling and ETL/ELT development.
• Strong capability in delivering BI solutions.
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, Looker.
• Exposure to SAP BW and SAP ECC or S/4 data sources.
• Experience with SQL, Python or other data manipulation languages.
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data warehouse and analytics solutions.
• Develop and optimise data pipelines and transformation processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical data solutions.
• Contribute to data architecture, governance and quality standards.
