Job summary

BDO Auckland is seeking a seasoned professional to join our business advisory team in East Tamaki. You will work closely with clients to provide practical, commercially driven advice and lead engagements from planning through to delivery.

You will supervise team members, review financial reports and deliver clear guidance on accounting and tax matters, supporting clients to grow and improve performance. A CA background and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years’ experience in business advisory within a CA environment.
• An accounting background and/or working towards a CA qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical capability and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to identify business challenges and develop strategic plans.
• Draft high-quality accounting and tax guidance for clients.
• Analyse client financial reports and management accounts for insights.
• Supervise engagements from planning through to delivery and review.
