Job summary

Fluid Recruitment Limited in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Senior BAS Accountant to join a well-established mid-tier Chartered Accounting firm. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, including rural and agricultural businesses, and provide practical accounting and business advice.

With 6+ years in NZ public practice and CA qualification (or studying towards it), you will prepare and review financial statements, GST, tax returns and compliance work while growing advisory and

Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience within New Zealand public practice.
• Strong BAS and compliance experience.
• Experience working with rural/agricultural clients is highly desirable.
• CA qualified or working towards your CA qualification.
• Confident communicating with clients and managing your own portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including rural and agricultural businesses.
• Prepare and review financial statements, GST, tax returns and compliance work.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide practical accounting and business advice.
• Work closely with Partners and senior team members on more complex client matters.
• Opportunity to further develop your advisory and client-facing skills.
