Fusion5's Data and Integration team is growing. We’re seeking a Senior Integration Developer to join in Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch.

This ArchiDev role is senior and hands-on, with a strong solution design focus—shaping integration approaches, defining patterns and standards, translating business outcomes into robust designs. You'll collaborate with analysts and architects, provide trusted client advice, and mentor fellow developers while working on challenging projects that empower

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years designing and delivering integration solutions.
• Strong Azure service experience (Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus).
• Proficient in REST APIs and API design.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform / ARM) and CI/CD.
• Security-first design and observability skills.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand business outcomes and translate them into integration designs.
• Own solution design for workstreams; define patterns and non-functional requirements.
• Build and deploy integrations with Azure services and event-driven approaches.
• Lead the delivery lifecycle from design to production support.
• Create and maintain artefacts like designs, interfaces, and runbooks.
• Support and optimize integrations in production for performance and cost.
• Mentor developers and advance CI/CD, code reviews, testing.
