Job summary

Moore Markhams Auckland is seeking a hands-on Senior Auditor to deliver a broad range of audit and assurance services for a diverse client base. You will manage end-to-end assignments, ensure compliance with NZ standards, and build trusted relationships with clients.

You bring 3+ years of NZ post-qualification experience, strong knowledge of ISA NZ, financial reporting standards, and a collaborative, growth‑minded approach in a high‑performing firm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ NZ post‑qualification experience in conducting audits and process reviews.
• Sound knowledge of ISA NZ, financial reporting standards and updates, and persuasive analytics.
• Ability to manage individual audit assignments end to end.

We are a Mid-tier established CA firm looking for a Senior Auditor to provide prompt, personalised service across all our audit and assurance services. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, providing outstanding assurance and general advice, and taking ownership of their work in a supportive environment.

About the role

This is a hands‑on senior position where you will:

• Provide a broad range of audit and assurance services to clients including meeting compliance requirements and NZ standards
• Build trusted client relationships and aim to exceed your clients' expectations
• Review work and assist with mentoring and developing junior team members

About you

You bring 3+ years’ NZ post‑qualification experience in conducting audits and process reviews.

You have sound working knowledge of ISA NZ, financial reporting standards and requirements, new standards and updates and persuasive analytics. You are well versed in managing individual audit assignments end to end.

With a genuine interest in business, you have sound reporting skills and knowledge in preparing and reviewing accounts. You’re a clear, confident communicator and confidently manage client relationships. You have a knack for translating complex information for both clients and colleagues. You are a collaborative team player with a growth mindset and thrive in a high‑performing culture.
