Job summary

Private Capital Group in Queenstown, New Zealand, seeks a Senior Associate/Associate Director to join the origination team and contribute across the transaction lifecycle from deal sourcing to credit analysis, structuring, and execution.

This role also involves active portfolio management and regular engagement with borrower stakeholders, requiring advanced credit analysis, modelling, and strong communication to management and co-investors.

Qualifications

• Advanced credit analysis, modelling, and cash flow forecasting.
• Experience in corporate finance, private credit, leveraged finance, or investment banking.
• Deal structuring and preparation of legal documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication for investment memos and interfacing with management teams and co-investors.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines.
• NZ work authorization or the right to live and work in NZ.

• Source, screen, and analyze deal opportunities.
