AWS Legal in Alexandra, Central Otago, is offering an experienced Senior Associate a genuine succession pathway toward Partnership. This deliberate opportunity provides continuity for clients and a clear lead role to shape the Alexandra practice.

You’ll inherit trusted client relationships, manage a high-quality caseload, mentor lawyers, and contribute to client advising with pragmatic, commercially focused solutions.

Qualifications

• NZ-qualified lawyer with current practicing certificate.
• Senior Associate+ level experience and ability to manage complex matters.
• Strong client relationship skills and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Help lead and grow the Alexandra practice.
• Manage a high-quality, diverse and complex caseload.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing pragmatic and commercially sound advice.
• Lead, mentor and develop lawyers and support staff.
• Shape the future direction of the firm.
• Open discussions around Partnership with a clear pathway.
