Job summary

The Auckland Harbour Bridge Senior Asset Management Engineer will proactively manage the bridge's assets, developing forward works programmes and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and funding.

You'll lead asset management strategies, technical reports, and investment briefs, collaborating with internal teams, consultants and stakeholders to deliver safe, reliable, and optimised long-term performance.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in structures asset management or construction of structural assets.
• Experience with safety, quality, risk and long-term value in decision-making.
• Asset management experience within transport infrastructure, ideally bridges or major structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop forward works programmes and long-term asset management plans.
• Lead renewal investigations, design activities and project briefs.
• Monitor construction works and apply global best practice to strengthen asset management capability.
