Selwyn District Council is seeking a Senior Aquatics Lifeguard for Selwyn Aquatic Centre in Rolleston. You will lead the lifeguard team, supervise shifts, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all facility users.

The role includes rostering support, water quality testing, reporting, and driving staff training and development. A 76-hour fortnight schedule applies, with a rotating Week One/Week Two pattern.

Qualificações

• Experience overseeing or leading a team in any industry.
• Willing to undertake Lifeguard training to gain a national qualification.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and safety.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise lifeguards on shift and lead by example.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to facility users.
• Assist with rostering and scheduling of staff.
• Conduct water quality testing and reporting.
• Promote and deliver ongoing training and development.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the team.
• Troubleshoot and manage pool safety and incidents.
