Job summary

Reserve Bank of New Zealand is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the Licensing and Authorisations team as it implements the Deposit Takers Act. The role focuses on developing licensing capabilities and documenting business requirements to ensure effective regulatory licensing processes.

You will identify process improvements, analyse workflows, and proactively report risks and issues within the Financial Stability group.

Qualifications

• Experience in banks, insurers or supervisory authorities preferred.
• Understanding of legal, accounting and economic environments within financial institutions is ideal.
• Experience in continuous improvement, business analysis and/or project management.
• An understanding of regulatory frameworks and regulatory decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Deposit Takers Act with Licensing & Authorisations to establish a new licensing capability.
• Identify and analyse business processes to find new licensing approaches and improvements.
• Develop and document business requirements for projects and operational changes.
• Proactively identify and report risks and issues.
