Job summary

Bank of New Zealand is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join the Auckland team on a 2-year fixed-term basis. You will work within high-profile regulatory delivery squads in the lending data space, uncovering requirements and dependencies, and translating complex data into clear delivery actions.

You’ll analyse lending data, business rules and reporting requirements, collaborate across business, data, technology and delivery teams, and support readiness activities to ensure regulatory data

Qualifications

• 3–7 years’ business analysis experience across digital, process or platform change.
• Strong visual and structured modelling skills; communicate complexity simply.
• Experience shaping backlogs and partnering with technology delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Uncovering requirements, blockers, dependencies and decision points in regulatory delivery squads.
• Analyzing lending data, business rules, controls and reporting requirements.
• Translating complex business and data analysis into clear actions for delivery teams.
• Supporting impact assessment, traceability, reconciliation and readiness activities.
