The Department of Internal Affairs is seeking a Senior Principal Advisor – AML/CFT to provide expert leadership across complex financial institutions. You will shape and strengthen our supervisory approach, oversee on-site inspections, and guide high‑level reviews with international best practice in a risk-based regulatory framework.

You will work with senior leaders across government, industry and partners, mentor colleagues, and contribute to policy developments that enhance NZ's AML/CFT

• Significant AML/CFT experience with complex financial institutions.
• Experience assessing entities' AML/CFT compliance and providing high-level guidance.
• Ability to lead complex supervisory activity including on-site inspections.
