Job summary

Zendesk, a leader in AI-powered customer service software, is expanding in New Zealand's mid-market Commercial sector. We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive with 5–8+ years of B2B SaaS sales to acquire new customers and expand existing partnerships with innovative AI CX solutions.

You will own territory plans, manage multi-stakeholder deals, conduct product demos and POCs, and collaborate with Solutions Engineers and Marketing to drive pipeline.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–8+ years in B2B SaaS sales with quota attainment.
• Experience navigating complex mid-market sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to articulate AI-driven value to business leaders.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new customer accounts and expand within NZ mid-market Commercial segment.
• Act as trusted advisor on AI-powered CX tools and business value.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Manage multi-stakeholder sales process including demos and POC evaluations.
• Build territory plans to maximise market share and meet revenue quotas.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce forecasts and coordinate with Solutions Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success.
