About the Role

As a Senior Advisor in the National Public Health Service (NPHS) Intelligence Directorate, you will play a key role in supporting the Directorate's planning, reporting, and integrations functions. You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, along with expertise in analysing and interpreting complex information to contribute to informed decision-making and the effective delivery of strategic priorities. This permanent, full-time role sits within the Intelligence Directorate and reports to the National Manager. You will play a key role in supporting the Directorate's planning, reporting, and intelligence functions, contributing to informed decision-making and the effective delivery of strategic priorities. The focus of the role will be:

  • Supporting the Directorate's business planning, performance reporting, and business intelligence activities.
  • Managing and delivering small projects across a range of operational and strategic priorities.
  • Collating, analysing, and synthesising information from multiple sources to identify insights, investigate issues, and inform solutions.
  • Providing high-quality analysis, advice, and reporting using data, research, and intelligence tools to support the Directorate's goals and objectives.

About You

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking a hands on approach to a diverse range of work. You will bring proven experience in an advisory role, using critical thinking, sound judgement, and strong analytical skills to develop options and provide quality advice. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will be confident preparing clear, concise, and meaningful reports and recommendations. You will also have experience managing small projects from initiation through to successful completion, using workflow management tools to track progress and deliver outcomes. Experience in business planning and reporting, along with the ability to build effective relationships and engage confidently with senior stakeholders, will be highly valued.
